England Wins Final Ashes Test

England have crushed Australia by 225 runs to win the fifth Ashes test and end the series on a high-note after losing the four previous matches.

Veteran paceman Andy Cad**** captured seven wickets on Monday in an inspired display of fast bowling as Australia collapsed to be all out for 226 in their second innings chasing 452 to win.

Australia resumed the final day at 91-3, needing to bat through the entire day on a crumbling Sydney Cricket Ground pitch to save the test, but folded quickly to be all out 48 minutes after lunch.

Australia's defeat was their first on home soil against any country in more than four years and their heaviest loss to England since they were beaten by an innings and 14 runs at Melbourne in December 1986.

well cad**** is a word most aussies want censored all together! he end up gettin 10 wickets for the whole game... good on him.

rather upset that Vaughn got man of the series... thought he was to up and down. could think of 3 other players that deserved it more than him (2 aussies 1 english)

test is not much important.ODI's are the most imp. matches.Lets see it in the world cup.

Forget the world cup England should pull out and boycott these games. I think its appalling that there is a competition going ahead with all the trouble in Zimbabwe :mad:

Thanks for the info m8 mostly i dont watch tests because it gets boring but near the end they hit four and sixes and hit as far as they can, England are still doing pretty good.
