crash bash patch

i tried installing the ppf patch for crash bash, burnt the cd and it still says my console has been modified and to call an 800 number, any ideas what i can do to rectify this. he got the game for xmas but wont play on the console and would like some help.....thanks

Hmm it sounds as though the patch has not applied properly .. I don't know your skills M8 .. but if you are unsure of the patch application procedure there is a good tutorial, and all the necessary proggy's needed, that can be obtained Here (http://www.geocities.com/psxcplist/) .. the site is no longer updated, but, is still a good one for information. :)

the ppf-o-matic said that the patch was successful, thr came starts up then says " is it 4:20 yet" then it goes to the console has been modified please call an 800 number, any other ideas?
