Trouble Burning A Patched game

Ummm..Ok. So Im new to patching and stuff. I just discovered this yesterday and succesfully patched my first game today. The problem im having is that CDRwind isnt recognizing my burner. I have an I/O Magic. I was wondering..If I HAVE to use CDRwin or if i could use Nero toburn the patch to a cd. And if so...What steps do I have to do?I'd appreciate any help.

Oh...my comp is a Hewlett Packard and my burner I/O Magic (its external)

If its a pc game you want to burn onto a cd, then you can use any writing software. - I would have thought it would also be the case if it were a consol game your dealing with.
