i installed it fine but the acutal controller (mini turntable) wont work...so i was wondering if there was a driver or like a fix to play on xp pro out there...i know NOTHING bout these things and ANY help would be greatly apprecitaed...so plz help...cause im dieing to try it out
ALSO> i have an OLD computer from like 1995 but it doesnt have any USB ports and it has windows 95...i was wondering if there is such a thing like a adapter to go from a port there to a USB...but thats a really stupid question that proabbly seems dumb to you

why not just dual boot xp and 98 then just use 98 for that, then when you are finished go back to xp

dual boot it so when you boot the pc up you will get a choice of booting into xp or 98 ,then select 98 when you wanna use the mix thingy ,then when you are finished reboot into xp.
But i cant remember how to do it ,there should be a guide on the net somewhere or some1 with better knowledge than me can tell you how to do it

to dual boot u have to install one OS to one hard drive and the other OS to a second harddrive.
or
One OS one partition and the other OS to another partition.
If u save something in one u can see it in the other.

oh so i could install 98 on my second drive...i have 15gb on one and 2.7gb in another..but their almost full...i have to make space lol...so its just that easy...so i could grab a win98 cd and install to hard drive d and when i start my comp it will ask me wether i want to boot in 98 or XP? there has to be more
would this effect how i play games, run programs etc...like compatibility issues?
thanks

Ive got 98se and 2k installed,i boot in to 2k only when im burning dvdr's as 2k ive got a ntfs partition,i boot into 98 for every thing.Having the 2 OS dones effect each other ,i have'nt had a problem.
You install on OS on one drive and the other OS on the second harddrive, then when u boot up you will get a option to to choose to boot into 98 or xp in your case.

just that simple? seriously? i grab a win98 cd...throw it into the cd drive(hopefully not lol) install on my drive d restart...when i do it asks if i want xp pro or 98? thats so cool...
acutally i dunno what drive its on...cause i have a lot of data files that drive d that came with the computer...u sure it wont overwrtie xp? give me some names of crucial xp pro files so i can see what drive its on
or wait...which ever drive has the windows folder with ALL that stuff inside...is that xp pro?
