Cracka PC sound Helpa!

:D Im @ my uncles house and the sound wont seem to be playing, he recently got a CD Burner installed. I checked for all the cables to be in the right place, blah blah, all the cords are in place, yet the sound wont come out of the f00king speakers... what can I do... I don't realy want to find out what do myself, since its a COMPAQ and I hate COMPAQs... wait I hate all PCs that aren't custom built (lol) anyway wut the hell can I do? Thx guys ^_^

Check for the audio cable that connects your CD-RW to your motherboard is in the correct place.
