ps2 help required

I have a playstation 2 which is PAL, I live in UK, there is a game called Gallop Racer 2001 which isnt available in UK and its on American format, please dont say there is Gallop Racer 2001 in UK, there is G1 Jockey, totally different game. Anyway, is there any way i could play this american game (which i havent bought yet, hence the question) on my PS2, what would happen if i got this game and put it in my PS2 would it play at all, even in black and white, or would my console reject the game. Can anyone help with this, I dont want to modify the PS" i.e chip it.

you have to chip it ,if you want to play that game you need a chip
