PS2 controller and memory card

Just wondering if anyone can tell me if the PSX controllers and the memory cards will work on a PS2.My son has quite a few cards with games on them, or is it possible to transfer them to the PS2 card?

memory card no

psx memory card works for ps2 when playing psx games
ps2 games need the ps2 memory card

don't know about the memory card transfer, but ps2 cards have 8mb as standard

The Namco ( psx ) light gun can also be used on PS2 games ;)

no, you can't transfer game save files (PSX) to the 8Mb memory card.

psx memory can be use on the PS2, but not use with PS2 games. Only psx games.
