Booting a PS2 DVD Backup

Help!!!! Is there a method for booting DVD Backups on a modified PS2? Got couple of DVD backups and they won't boot. All CDR type stuff boots no problem. Any help would save me a load of grief from eager kids!!!!!

I know this sounds pretty lame but I can't remember!!! I had it done about 8 months ago. Is there any way of telling if I open it up?

no dude there's no way n i can't help u eather there're to many mods out there with diferent booting methods. open up ur ps2 n check it out but i'm sure there's a way to boot dvdr on every mod.
