Just brought a dual head video card and i want to be able to ran two mice pointers a once on the one computer. Eg play games on one monitor while being able to use the other for other programs using a second mouse. Is this possible? and how would you do this?

i never heard of this..like a computer from the movie swordfish..so like u want like 4 monitors and be able to run one keyboard and one mouse on it?
well i would like to know more about this as wel...seems interesting
Yes this is possible. Can you tell the crowd please what video card you use? This will help us out a bit...
This can be accomplished by, ofcourse getting two monitors - most likely you get one monitor port then a funny looking smaller one - if you tell anyone at your friendly neighborhood CompUSA what you want to do, he/she will give you the correct addapter to adapt the smaller port into your second monitor.
Next, we need to know what graphics card you have. If you have an ATI one, you can either call them, or, even easier, there is a start screen everytime you reboot windows (by default there is). Go into the ATI's help, and you will find how to do dual monitor support. I myself have never done this, but I know it works since my friend has my same graphics card and he does dual monitor!
Now, it also depends on what you are going to do with the dual monitor. If you are saying you want to have A DIFFERENT DESKTOP ON EACH MONITOR, then chose that option - but if you want your screen to act like a very widescreen monitor (for games) ( this can be done by putting both monitors next to eachother and then chose that option). Hope this helps! But please give us your video card model and manufacturer please!

ok and what do u think teh final price would be aman? with like regualr flat screen sony monitros...like 15 inch
Well, first of all I don't use sony flat screens - so I don't know the price of them - I'd say they are around 400 dollars - so u get two 400 dollar "regular 15 inch flatscreens" and then the 25 dollar adapter. About 825 dollars ;) - But trust me it's worth it! :D I just have an ordinary 22 inch NEC flatpannel widescreen monitor along with a crappy old 15 inch crt monitor and it works out fine - the 22 inch for gaming and the 15 inch for school ;)
