Please HELP me, my internet has become TOO slow!

Hi could I please get some help, My internet speed has gone from good to REALLY slow, Ive removed programs, freed up harddrive space, defragmented harddrive, Ive done everything I can think of short of uninstalling internet explorer, (Ive already reinstalled it and no change!) How do you uninstall internet explorer? its not in the add/remove and has no uninstall icon, and how do I reinstall it of the win98se cd?

also sometimes when I download a big file it completes before the target size, whats going on? when this happens its always corrupt.

I beg you PLEASE help me!

(also the fan in my computer is starting to play up, what can I do to fix this myself, I dont want to take it to a store.)

There is a program called Marketstore for seeding up internet connection - you can download it free. Never tested it tho'.

I recommend DONT use Marketscore because it left SPYWARE on my computer even when I uninstalled it, DAMM SPYWARE TO HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
