Game Cube just arrived

The Game Cube has just been released here in SA and I was wondering if there is any point buying it when the XBox may be here soon.

yes it is worth it it has nice graphix some good games n u'll love to play all resident evil games.

I think the GC Rocks. I have always been a Nintendo Fan and would rather support Nintendo, than greedy Sony or Monopolizing Microsoft. I think that the GC is also very reasonably priced.

However, I think that the Xbox is going to be one killer console, when it finally launches here in South Africa, and it would Definitely be worth the wait.

I would still get the GC though. It works with my Gameboy Advance:)

If you like platform games like mario and zelda and also if you like the resident evil series go for gc or if you like fps and sports go for xbox and if you have bb and you are going to take your console online I would also go for xbox.


But which ever you choose I think you will be happy with.

If you like rpgs and fighting games, go for the ps2 and if you like sharp graphics, best online play, get BroadBand with an high end PC. Anyways, the gamecube is worth it buddy.

na the gamecube is the console to get i got it on the day of release and i havnt regretted it 1 single bit it is an excellent console with some cracking games so go for the gamecube

I would really think Xbox - but only if the xbox online service will be available in your area. If not, then the xbox's games (or atleast the ones that are coming out now) are worthless, so don't get xbox if you won't be able to play online; there aren't enough strong games that are NOT XBL Enabled that you can serriously enjoy IMO!!!! NO CONSOLE WARS!!!

I think, if you HAD to get gamecube, then do so. It would be a better desicion than xbox if you cannot get the online multiplayer, and there ARE some good games (resident evil, supersmash bros melee (just tried that game - it rocks :D ), rouge squadron, etc.!).

Yes, i would go for Xbox! its great and has pretty good graphics.
