i got a crack for heroes iv it worked, but now i want to update heroes iv and updater says something like this"file contents doesnt match however file whit same name was found no update done"
could someone tell me how can i update my heroes iv??

you might need the original .exe file in order to update game !

Hi, I was just wondering were you had gotten the crack for heroes 4, I have looked but couldn't find it. Could you tell me where you got it?? thanks

For heroes 4 you need to reinstall the game. Next time do a backup to the files that the crack wants to replace.

This crack is for Winds of War addon.

And this should work for Homm4, patched at v3.0 and for the Gathering Storm, patched to the v.3.0
The install order would be something like this: Homm4, Gathering Storm, patch to 3.0, Winds of War. Hope it helps.

okay so i dont' know what crack to use, and i dont' have an expansion... not that it would work... see i can't update it yet either... i have a corporate copy of windows and something went wrong with another computer and now my VKL is Void, so..... I am having trouble installing crap... any help there.. and yes i used a search engine... thank you

It's not a bad thing that you used the search function, it's there for a reason. Too often you get the same damn thread being posted numerous times in which if someone searched before posting, they would have their problem solved. Anyway, onto business ...

If you're having trouble with your Windows, the best thing would be to contact their help support to get things straightened out. There are workarounds for problems with Windows, but I think you should contact Microsoft and talk to them if you have a legitimate copy of Windows.

Anyway, the second crack is for you, if you don't have an addon. Don't forget to dl the patch 3.0 for HOMM4(the crack being for that version)
