avi with no sound

I ripped a DVD into VOb files and then used both easydivx and Gordian Knot. The avi format of the file came out clear but without any sound? Do u think that the vob's are screwed or the way i;m converting it?

Nah, you prob just forgot to grab the audio. ;)

Have a look at this tutorial, i've found it to be useful, and it's worked every time for me:

BTW, it lists other programs, but all you really need to use are:
DVD2AVI, Smart Ripper, TPGEnc

In this case, you'll use DVD2AVI to create the vid + audio file, load them both into TMPGEnc, and create your vid file.
