Virtual drive not working

My friend has this problem not me and as he has no internet connection I decided that I would help him out!

It goes like this: he installed Windows XP recently and his virtual drive no longer works. Any ideas what the problem is?

And while I'm on the topic please explain what a virtual drive is as I'm not entirely sure! See 2 questions in 1 no spam from me!:dance:

If he upgraded from a previous windows version he will probaly need to reinstall before it works
What prog is he using to create the virtual drive? it may be incompatible with winxp

I got Xp and use deamon tools, works great
Virtual rom lets you play images of games. without burning them, Great way to play backups.
