copying ps2 dvd games

Hi, I have a newbie question. I just installed my modchip and have successfully copied a cd game for ps2. I am wanting to copy the dvd games as well, but I do not have a dvdrw, I have a cdrw with a dvdrom. Can it be done and How? Someone had told me that you can compress the files after reading the dvd and burn it with the cdrw. Any help would be appreciated?

As u dont have a dvd burner, what u have to do to copy a dvd game is rip it to cd.
Theres tutorials on this site that tell u how.But by doing this u will lose some stuff from the games,i.e. movies,audio or both.Sometimes u might only lose some demo movies or company credits.But some game u will lose nothing.

If u have a fast connection it will be easyer to download the games,aready ripped. :D
