Windows 7 or Vista done right, lol I like that title :blaclol, is going to skip over beta 2 all together and move on to release candidate 1 soon.
It is a pretty stable system so I guess it only makes sense.

I really hope they have god reason, because this sounds to me like rushing win7 release. They also said there will be only one release candidate instead of two originally planed. I hope they wont release unfinished os. Like they did with Vista.

As soon as they create multilingual interfaces, and more developers starts to program for win7, i'll install it as my main OS again.

Well, Windows 7 is really just Windows Vista done right it really is. There aren't any extraordinary changes just improvements really. I don't think it's really rushing it I think they're delayed on getting Vista working the way it should have been from the get go.

Well, it gotta count that they managed to improve the interface that remarkably while keeping the hardware usage down. I mean, Vista was pretty, almost a bit gayish, but Win7 blows vista away IMO.

Windows Vista have the most of time on world was like 5 years on development. And even with that was buggy
Is is first time on ages M$ moves more fast. They are generally very slow on terms of developement
IE 7 also took ages over IE 6

Wow 5 years in development?! I'm shocked! So I guess there is a team working on "Windows 8" as we type this then.

In preparation for Windows 7 mess ups :D
Seriously it is about time they released an apology for Vista and if that apology comes in the form of a shiny new Windows 7 then I'm not complaning. If the beta 1 is as good as I've heard then I can't see any reason why not to skip beta 2.
