How do I check my game version? I'm trying to get a trainer for resident evil 4 because i've been stuck ona mission for a week. I've downloaded 2 trainers but it always turns off resident evil when i activate it so guessing wrong version

Go to the resident folder of the game (where the .exe file is). Right-click on the .exe > Properties > "Version" tab

What part are you stuck on? Maybe we can give you some pointers rather then using a trainer? I think you would be a lot more stisfied beating it on your own. ;)

I rite clicked the exe but it doesn't have the version on it secondly I'm stuck on the part where there are 2 gigantis and i know your meant to drown the first 1 in lava but the second I keep shooting it's brains in and grenading it but i always run out of bullets before it does anything

Honestly you question is not stupid I have seen worst

Chek the readme file on the game directory or the install disk maybe you version is there

And if you have RE4 first version yeah patch it coz the first version was a pile of bugs

Your on one of the boss fights right?

Usually when you run out of ammo, some will respawn somewhere, you just need to find it. ;)

Although saying that I largely suspect your going about killing it in the wrong way. :)

Try looking at a guide here (http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/doswin/game/931851.html). It's never the same beating a game when you've cheated.

hmm tihi is little offtopic coz guestion was "how to check game version" but:

Personally i dont see difference between cheats and trainer.... or wait ofcource some games gives you cheater label when you use them but using trainer it nothing happens.

And i dont understand opinion that no one is allowed to use cheats. Personally i know a lot of people who just cant play without cheats. For example one my friend completed feras first level. I mean first level with enemies coz first was technicalli training level so i call it training and level where main hero lands from helicopter is first... but ok lets continue. So on start on second level he have no ammo and no medipacks. And how is he supposed to play through? He have been stuck on fears second level for 2 weeks before i found trainer to him.

And personally i dont use cheats and trainers on my first play. After i complete game if i want just to relax and have fun i may use cheats or trainers. For example i dont like at all FrCry and last boss fight was so embarrasing that even my cat almost died from embarrasment. But for me it fun to first mek ur dude invicible and all guns after that take bazooka and get it on. its so fun whet you shoot enemies and they do somersaults and pretty cool moves in the air. Etc.
