Alternative to WIN32DASM

Hi,

I am trying to create a Crack for Rainbow Six Vegas 2 Patch version 1.06 as the Newest Patch version crack for the game I can find is 1.02.

The problem is I have never made a crack before for one, most of the turorials I have read involve using WIN32DASM as the main tool to locate the the Offset needed to hex edit to bypass the CD Check routine. The reason this is a problem is that whenever I try to load R6Vegas2_Game.exe into WIN32DASM it simply will not load. I can load all other Executables from other games I have installed on my system(GRAW2, COD4 ect...).

So what would be a good alternative to using WIN32DASM that would still be good for a beginner to use(something that won't throw me off too far from the tutorials).

or possibly if someone knows of a crack released already for the latest patch of R6Vegas2(1.06).

Are you sure there is such a thing for R6 Vegas2?
The only R6Vegas 1.06 it's for the first game.
Get your facts straight. There is no such a thing as a 1.06 patch for Vegas2.

Just one comment about WIN32DASM. This prog is very old date from like 1998 still could useful for some thing for exmaple protection id seems was created on it. Or cd cheks of older games

But is pretty useless for newer copyprotection used on nowdays games without lots of programming skills


If you read about WIN32DASM on a tutorial on net tutorials give bases but is difficult to real learn cracking on them and lots of the are pretty outdated now. I honestly don't don't know how to crack either

But learning learning well programing takes long time you see people on forums get angry coz they dedicated 3 days reading a tutorial and they couldn' program and asy tutorilas suck But the thing is that take years get good skill it coul no be good done from days 3 months or maybe just one year is this for the patient people and is good have several programming books and not only tutorials since those are bases

And like anything else the first try on aporg could like a child leraning to paint his book can be bad and with the time your skill get better

Yea my bad I was mixed up on what versions where for witch game. I actually was trying to work with R6Vegas2 Version 1.02 but that already had a public crack made. However yesterday was the release of the official 1.03 patch for R6Vegas 2 so I need a new crack. Ive been to work one using ollydbg but the game has Debugger protection and whenever I try to execute the program to breakpoint It closes down saying there is a Debugger present. I have tried all of the "Hider" plugins I could find for Olly but no luck.

Any help please I want to try out this patch.,
