Need To Have Forum Critiqued!!!

my forum, which can be found in the link in my signature, isn't the best forum out there, obviously.

just click on the BoredBoards link, and check out my site... you may register to view the features availible, but i really need critisizm (positive and negative) to help make it better...

it is nothing like this forum, but a main contributor is the members. the more you have, the better the forum looks.

so... what do YOU think???

Just had a quick look at your site,my advice would be start off small with the forums until you gain more members,plus you need a theme within the forum i.e gaming/music..find out what your members need and what they are interested in before making to many forums.Try and find something different as they are millions of forums worldwide,gaining members is hard and i wish you goodluck.. Active members is another issue..

thank you! the original idea for the forum was the whole thing would be about whatever... not the most exciting idea :D

i think that the active member part is the most difficult. having my friends stay on the site (which are the moderators, unfortunatly, who will be taken off the mod list in a few minutes) is hard.

I have many links set to my site, such as youtube and myspace... still not easy. but thank you so much for your thoughts on my forum. i will change it up a bit :D

had a quick look , the default theme isn't for me , it's too contrasting and harsh on the eyes , i also find it hard to read , otherwise i would also organise the topics a bit more and have similar topics grouped and then different topics separated by a gap :D gw tho m8

I know I'm a little late to the party but I stumbled onto this thread accidentaly and decided to take a look at your forum.
I quite liked the forum and I will be checking it out in the coming days.
