Greasemonkey problem.

I got firefox v2.0.0.11, recently I downloaded and Installed Greasemonkey 0.7.20070607.0. I created a test script it worked fine, then I removed that script after which am not able to Create/Edit any script, even the ones downloaded from internet. I uninstalled the add-on and reinstalled it, it didn't help, I even uninstalled firefox and installed firefox again, even it didn't help. Can some one offer a working solution? Don't ask me to format my system, I can't do that :p

Or

suggest anyother add-on for firefox that does the same function of greasemonkey.

Any help will be much appreciated..
