broken hardrive

i have a new computer and it has a 10 gygabyte hardrive and it veiws as a 2.7 gyg hardrive and it is really annoying do you kow what i can to fix it.

yeah you can re format the computer by going to your command prompt and entering fdisk and then enable large disk support and then enter on both options 1 and then something will come up telling you are you sure you want to do this. Click Y on that and then it will format
or otherwise just re instal watever OS you are running!!!

and remember format your HDD will destroy all your data, if you have something of your interest do a backup first.
