View Full Version : Help Needed With - Pacific Storm: Allies 1.2 NO-CD

Currently for Pacific Storm: Allies, there is a NO-CD fix (by RELOADED) for the 1.1 version of the game, and it works well, however the game itself does not so it was patched up to 1.2 and unfortunately no longer works with the 1.1 NO-CD fix.

If anyone knows of a PSA1.2 NO-CD fix, or perhaps knows of someone capable of making one, I (and many others who like this game) would be very grateful for some assistance.

If needed, it can be easily arranged to provide the original 1.1 version, NO-CD fixed version, and even the 1.2 patched version of the file to be fixed should anyone be willing to help.

Clearly it's been done before to the 1.1 version of the game, but sadly I don't think it's received enough attention to continue on and make a 1.2 fix for the game yet.

Guinness Brewmaster #1: hmmm... Now why didn't I think of that? Using the CD's instead of a NO-CD patch! BRILLIANT!

But wait, would that not defeat the entire reason for a NO-CD patch to use the CD?

Guinness Brewmaster #2: Why, come to think of it, yes it would.

Guinness Brewmaster #1: Well then I guess if we want to play the 1.2 version of the game without the CD then we will still need a NO-CD patch for the 1.2 version of the game.

Guinness Brewmaster #2: BRILLIANT!

Actually, it was respectful and in fact went to great lengths to be light about it and try to laugh about it. Perhaps he should be the one drawing the ire given that he posted precisely opposite of the purpose of the thread, i.e. trolling, for no actual benefit of anyone in any possible way.

One would hope that not railing against those who aren't helpful would be encouraged, and having a sense of humor about the entire thing is certainly better than flaming someone isn't it? I would at least think he would have a comparable sense of humor about it that I do, and be light hearted enough to not see it as any sort of attack on him, for I was quite obviously using the silly Brewmasters from the Guinness commercials and I can only hope that few people take them seriously.

The entire point of the post was merely to say that of course the CD can be used, but doesn't that defeat the purpose of wanting a NO-CD fix? I did not attack him in any way, I didn't flame him, nor deride him, I merely showed that the suggestion isn't a solution to the problem posed. If the humor is unwelcome then perhaps it's not the post that's the most critical problem at the moment.

Please keep it civil. The humor it's accepted and you can make it in the forum dedicated section. Here you ask nicely and that's it.
No cracking members around(neither in gamecopyworld or gameburnworld forums).
If the cracks are available they will be upped on the site. Right now, sadly, is none available for v1.2. You can play with the v1.1 or use the CD and update to v1.2 until a crack for v1.2 is available.
The game had some attention, so I'm convinced that a crack will come out.
After all, Pro Cycling Manager 2007 it's even more obscure than this one and, yet, cracks are still released for that game.
