HL2 patch?

Is there a bug fix patch that works with steamless HL2? I instaled the game from my HL2 cd but it is soooooo many bugs and weird things that happens, and I get a HL2 exe error sometimes when the game loads a new area, any help would be great.

Do you mena the AI bug when you enter in the in a new area, the connection lost and all that crap?

Yeah I had them too but but got most of them fixed after some time in old threads of hl2 there is lots of useful info about. I can't remember right now coz haven't played HL2 in ages but the no cd hl2 thread as long others could help you. Yeas is a very long reading since have lot's of old replies but attention in some of the threads from a user called PJpspliff (or something like thaw was his username) he no longer comes here but lots of his provided info worked for me and got the HL2 AI bug fixed completely as long as others

I dont got any of those bugs, I got bugs like...white shiny boxes...ghost AI that goes trough walls....graphic problems like big shiny ghost walls suddenly appears.

Then your problem must be a driver/graphic related thing

Have tried different sets of drivers of lowering/changing the hl2 graphics option menu?

I`ve tried all the different settings( well almost) and it doesnt help
