wc3 no cd fix help

hello my name is levi harman and i have purchased wc3 and wc3 roc . i have installed the no cd gamefix and its working for the most part. but when i try to connect to bnet it says "unable to validate game version try reconnecting to bnet or installing patches manually . please help

I think all cracks don't work for online gaming.
But I know there is only 1 crack which works with btnet.

ok i downloaded it but it was just 1 file no exe or anything so i tried this ... i placed the file in wc3 folder and started up normally but that didnt do anything

Did i download wrong file?
Did i do something else wrong ?

are u using the origanal cd?

im not using any cd but i have them both next to me im trying to play the game online without having to take cd out every time i want to play and risk scratching it

if u cant get any fixes to work u will have to use the disks, also what sites have u been to for the cd fixes?

ive been using this site but im trying to use alcohol 120% right now. i made a virtual backup but... every time i try to launch the game it says "please verify that you have wc3 inserted " could you tell me what im doing wrong?

Try to use the most recent version of Alcohol choose the Securom profile (4x/5x) and when ask a what speed you want for the Dpm put 2x or less (making sure the dpm option is enabled first (this is only needed for WC3 TFT that has Securom 4.89 WC3 RoC s had a version of Securom 4.68 that this wasn't stil implemented so it's not necessary)

Also some drives fails in the dpm option if that happens try on another drive

Also if you mount the image with Alcohol or daeom tools make sure all emutaion options are enabled

The crack is the most easy way of course but sure it will be invalidated in the next WC3 update

I sometimes wonder how is that Blizzard still releases patches for old games like WC3 SC, Diablo Most game companies on their games generally only release patches the first year in the release date or luckily the second year and then stop the updates Atari is is a good example I wouldn't get impressed if ones of these days appars in the news that Atari got in bankrupt coz they seems have several financial problems (have sold several of their franchises to other companies)

Let's get serious, Atari is the former Infogrames. They were in deep s..t long before buying the Atari brand. Don't know why did they bought the brand in the first place.
Does anyone see a pattern around here? Titus interactive(french company) bought Interplay and a few other well known names in the industry and lead those towards bankrupcy. Infogrames(Atari) is struggling to escape bankrupcy.
Vivendi is not doing so hot either. Ubisoft lost 15% of their shares in the second EA attempt to atke over the company. Right now EA controls about 25% of the directors board in Ubisoft. So I'd say that the french management seems to be faulty in many ways...At least in game industry, as they do have enough other areas where they are doing fine.
Ah, and Atari tried to hide the fact that they are operating with massive losses, so a court order was released for them to declare their revenues(loses). Atari has a lot of hope in the titles that are released this fall. Those titles are deemed to bring them in the profit area(they hope that).
