Hope this one is good. I heard Moh Vanguard was a pile of crap and the MOH series declined in popularity for that

Got bored, uninstalled. The weapons are upgrading by firing them. And at one moment you will get to be one man army. Most of the time the allied AI is just shouting and waiting for your character to come and do the job. Wow, and your rank is private...Weird. And that's how you end up being one man army.
Bleah.
Also you get medals for finding the right drop points and doing various weird things(like getting through the mission without dying).
The difficulty level consists in the fact that the AI does more damage(wow, I thought that they would make them more intelligent, by making them flank you or finding alternative routes towards you, but noooo, they just charge against you and are making a lot of damage). The ingame saving it's console style. Checkpoint. Oh yes, and you have to enable that feature, otherwise you might do a mission and discover that you have to play it again because the save(????) feature wasn't enabled. The tutorial??? Where the hell is the tutorial...At least for airdrop. You can't skip over cinematics...God, that's frustrating. The maps are fairly big, but the free roaming is just a word. You can only do stuff between objectives, but can't get out(In Op Flashpoint, straying away from objective, could lead at a discovery of some secondary, tertiary objectives and the maps were huge and you could walk a lot)
ArmA: Queen's Gambit incoming at the end of month. Despite the fact that Operation Flashpoint was a lot better( I consider Op. Flashpoint the best shooter I've ever played), Armed Assault it's a better shooter than most of the shooters released lately. Of course it's for hardcore players, so most people will stick to Quake, Medal of Honor and such.
Other shooters scheduled for release soon is Quake Wars: Enemy Territory and Half Life2: Episode Two. Not looking forward for any of them.
ArmA2 and Operation Flashpoint2 are scheduled for release in 2008. And those are the shooters I'm waiting.
