Just got xbox!!!!!!!!!

OK I just got xbox bundle along with halo and I was getting xbx live but decided to wait till I have more money and GUESS what my xbox wont work it wont even turn on and I tried my games out at my friends house and they dont even work what luck I have damn it now I have to get another one:cussing: :cussing: :cussing: :mad:

well that really sux....... well somethings wrong with my brothers xbox also..... the freakin dvd player skips when playing dvd movies!!!... freakin microsoft..... never had that type of problem with sony...

Col is correct, I've never experimented any problems with SONY also my online connection works fine.

The xbox is new but halo is used so that is probally the reason but sega gt and the other one that came in the bundle dont work I am taking them back tommorow.

Or I will just forget it and get my money back and get something usefull or more ps2 games but I will try one more time for a non defected xbox.:(

Guys I got halo to work I applied some cd cleaner to work I took it over to my friends house after that and it works and halo is a pretty good game I havent got sega gt to work yet at my friends house tho. Well my mom picked my xbox for me at the store and she could of dropped it or something I dont know I will ask her about it. Oh yeah and makavelli why would I lie about it? I was looking forward to getting an xbox:(

I know man honestly.. Makaveli will possibly do ANYTHING to defend his buggy and as CL puts it 'lemon' system... :rolleyes: - listen millions of xbox has been returned with the same issues. Microsoft WILL fix it, but many people have had to ship it off, and pay money, and all sorts of other crazy things. Just try to get a full money refund and spend the money on something MUCH more usefull :rolleyes: ;)

hey ps2freak just refund and try again from another shop...btw from what ive heard the xbox is VERY FRAGILE like nothing is holding it together inside well not nothong but not a lot...just get ur money back and try another store that has like a week or 30 or 90 refund policy...i bought mine and i played that thing to crap...like i leave it on for 9 hours SRAIGHT and it works.. and i did it beofre the policy expired so that i know its not damaged...so when u buy this new one play it like youve never played a system beofre...but dont push it over 10 hours...thats just pushing it way to far

Ok guys I think that is enough at picking on the xbox for a few bugs. I have pretty much all the cd based gaming systems and the only 1 that has ever failed to operate correctly is my PS2! I am currently on my third one. 1st ver 4 lasted 1 hr before it quit reading cds/dvds, 2nd ver 4 lasted at year and when I tried to get it replaced Sony laughed. So I bought another, it is a Ver 5 and I have had it about 9months but it is hardly used anymore. Yes first gen xboxes had bad lasers and a few hardrives crashed but it is nothing like what Sony put on the market! A machine that they KNEW would sale and you would have to buy at least 2 over a span of 5 yrs.

I turned it on? I am sure every cd based system has some kind of hardware problems, all I am saying is this nick picking on xbox is unjust. I guess no one ever heard of the ps2 laser problems,psx over heating? The newer versions of PS2 have better lasers and cd drive doors but when you add up all the extra consoles that have been sold due to shotty equipment it really makes one pay attention.

No I dont have one anymore:( I needed the money so I sold it to my friend for $150 with one game but I go to his house alot so I will get to play it every day anyways plus he said he is getting xbox live so I might see some of you guys on live some time Ghost recon oh yeah;)

But I think socom is much better than ghost recon I have ghost recon for pc so I know what I am talking about.
