make a image of the ea game with cdrwin ,then look for the ea patch for it ,get the patch then apply it to the image with ppf o matic. If there is no ea patch for it just use the adr patcher and put a generic boot fix on.

Ea patches are here

You can get both the programs, and tutorials in their use, from this site Backup Progs / Tutorials (http://www.geocities.com/psxcplist/) .. although the site is a psx one and no longer being updated the principal of patching is still the same and required programs / tutorials may still be obtained from it ;)

Why do you need to patch EA games??
I have backed up all EA games to date with out patching and have yet to have any probs.
May be it could be your chip doesn't like they way your burner burn the games?

burning EA games can also be dependent of WHAT burner you have, which version of CloneCD you use, and what speed you're burning.

i don't think speed really matters i always record at 16x w/o any probs.
