How could I see a full map in game to check where I am? When I press M, nothing happens. I have checked the options and it says Map M. I am in the free driving mode.

Are you using a NOCD fix/Fixed EXE?
What did you install the game from, mounted image or original game disc?
If from an image where did you obtain it from?

I installed the official patch. I don't know if it had any affect but I realized that the map works only after you have done some race or other mission. However, I have a few more questions.

The map shows only missions/races but not any car shops. How do you find them? I found one but didn't got into it. Do I have to do some missions before some of the car shops open?

They open up after so far into the game after all if you had a money trainer you could get a ferrari or porsche.:circle:

I only played the first TD game (the 1987 one) and TD3 (1990) were for DOS

I supposed by now the game must be very different
