Hi all!
I am new to these forums. Hello everyone!
I have looked for a week trying to find wizardry 8. I finally found it. It was hard to find!
Anyway, I got it all installed etc. I watched the intro movie, and made my characters. Everything works great so far.
I start to play and many of the keyboard buttons are all wrong. Some are right, like many of the "letters" but many of the keys on the outside of the board are like one or two keys off.
I don't know if the copy of the game I got was messed up or what. I thought that maybe the game thought I was using a compact keyboard or something (I'm not, Im using a logitech mx3000) but the game doesn't offer an obvious way to change it.
The game does let you map the keyboard buttons, but when I try to map a specific function to a button, it maps the wrong button, ie When I try to map the "attack" function to say "F1", it says that I pressed "F3". And then when I go to the game and press "F3" (or F1) it does something else entirely.
I would LOVE to be able to play this game and any help at all would be greatly appreciated. If no-one knows how to fix this, then any help on WHERE I could look for a possible answer would really be a help.
