My cousin has got norton anti-virus 2007.
It always popups with information that it has blocked an intrusion. Its very irritating.

I have seen all options to disable it but found nothing.
Does anybody know how to disable this?

When it happens go to view details as u see there
On the window that appears look for options on the right hand side, one SHOULD say "dont notify me of this alert again" or something to that effect.
If he is getting a lot of them I would look into it, check what hes downloading, what networks he connects to (peer to peer I mean) Also do a few scans with Norton, Ad-aware and Spybot: Search & Destroy.
There may be a trojan or something lurking on his computer to spark all thisadvise him also to keep windows up to date, if his windows isnt legal then thats his problem, Microsoft release updates to prevent holes in their OS :)
If you dont own the rights to use it, dont install it ;) (for non-freeware applications...)

Norton sometimes interprets some harmless actions as hostile and it will intervine, if its happening more and more often it would suggest it something residing on his PC.
As fdjc4 suggested do some spyware scans, also do a virus scan as it possible he has a trojan. :)
If your sure his system is spywae/virus free, then somehwere in the settings of Norton will be a "Disable Notifications" option or something similar, I wouldn't advise this TBH because Norton will NOT warn him when his system is infected with a virus. ;)

Scan with Ad-aware and Spybot...
Secondly next time it comes up hit that "View Details" you see and look around for actions to perform then change it to "Dont Notify me of this Alert again"
There is definitely something on your PC that its causing this, I have Norton Internet Security 2007 for about 6 months now on 2 different machines, only recieved this popup 3 times total.
Give us a screenshot of your running processes please from the Task Manger, make it fullscreen and try to get them all into it or else do 2 screens ;)

I am not using Norton Internet Security 2007. I am using Norton Antivirus 2007.
And when I click on "View Details", I get this screen.....

Aye process list looks fine, checked them two exe's i thought looked out of place, hfp and fdm, they seem to be of some program that hides folders so I guess you got something like that installed, magic folder was what they mentioned.
Ok strange, as I get that screen above, on the right hand side where it now says "Actions" I would be able to do something like stop notifying or whatever.
You are using administrator account and arent using norton under a guest account?
Are you sure you have rights to change Norton settings, as in there isnt parental control crap truned on?
Ok to stop the popups ENTIRELY open Norton Protection Centre, go to the "Norton Internet Security" tab and click settings, under "Web Browsing" click "Intrusion Prevention" and go to "Configure"...
Ok new window, here look for "Intrusion Prevention Notification" and the option "Notify me when intrusion prevention blocks connections" right now SHOULD be ticked, so u want this unticked and that should be that, no more of them popups.
Good luck ;)
@Limpkorn, just been one of them days...

I think that fdm is free download manager and also I use hide files software.
I don't know what hfp is?
I am the admin.
As I said before I think norton av and norton internet security have diff options.
I don't get options as you specified.
