Hi,
I've looked around and could not find any previous topic on this, so I'm hoping someone has more experience with this than me.
Looking for new games, I've looked for sites that will allow me to find a game, watch a trailer or even try a game and then pay for it and I own it. Easy. Now I was looking for "The da Vinci Code" and could not find any company that will allow me to pay and download.
Does anyone have a list of companies doing this?
I know of Frogwares and Metaboli (both the pay and the subscribe sites). And that's it. I've spent most of the afternoon searching and have come up blank.
Help! and thank you.

Try UK based website www.game.co.uk (http://www.game.co.uk)
They offer some games as downloads to my knowledge, after paying for them of course :)

Thanks for the pointer!
I went there and found only shooters - and with free UK delivery, so no downloads. Pity!
Just for clarification: I am more than happy to pay for work. And game-design is work. So: no prob there.

You could try Valve's Steam program.

Wow, thanks for your help.
I tried both and found that the ondemand site is actually another Metaboli site and the steampowered one is exactly what I had in mind - but doesn't carry anything with da Vinci :-(
But these are great pointers for the future for other games, so I've book-marked both of them.
Appreciate your input!!

I'm surprised no one mentioned GameTap (http://www.gametap.com/home/)
It's got games from all sorts of other platforms and a huge selection too.

I use this site below, and download the demo before I buy the game. Its a good site for all other things as well including mods, patches, and trailers etc....

Gamershell.com is actually a good site I use it too download patches. The servers are very faster rarely give problems and the best is that you don't have to register to download ( I hate that)
Not useless and commercial sites like fileplanet.com or filefront.com you have to register to download and wanna make you pay fees for content that in other sites is free
