Hello my nintendo DS will not connect to an unsecured network. It lists the network as a possible access point but when it goes to connect to it or I test the connection it says, cannot find access point. Any help to this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. !

It would seem your Router isn't compatible with the DS, check this list (http://www.nintendowifi.com/consumerservice/routerSetup.do) to see if your router is supported, if it is there will be a set of instructions on how to set it up. :)

it mite just be that your access settings on your nintendo D.S are not properly coonfigured..
you've got more chance of finding an answer on google my friend :P
sall good..
or.. when i try to connect to my w-fi through my nokia n80 at my house, it dosen't work, yet i can connect at any other router...
heres a tip, if you cant find an answer, and you feel the copmpleate urge to go on wi-fi on your d.s, just go to macdonalds, they have free hotspots, that run with good connection speeds...

you can also have a burger and sum french fries with barbeque sause whilst trashing the Japs at their own games
hmm..
im gowing macdonals...
