black and white installation problem

i use to have win98 on my machine. b&w use to work fine then. i upgraded to winxp. b&w did not even want to install. the installshield wizard is loading and then it autoexit. nothing further will happen. deciding i will wait for winxp sp2, i formatted and installed winme. the same problem occurs with winme now. only the installshield wizard loads and then it exits.

my pc specs is as follows:

intel pentuim 4 1.7ghz
256 mb ram
40 gb hdd (with enough free space)
32 mb screen card
sound + all the other essentials

can you please help me . . .

y u dont try to install the game in a friends computer (which can b usin Win XP too) n then let us know what happens....

i think that maybe (just maybe!) ur Copy of the game is damaged.

i'm running XP pro sp1 and just did a quick install of B&W, and it installed fine m8, so your o/s aint to blame.
