Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the reliability of certain crack websites, e.g. astalavista.com, or crack.ms. I have been looking for two cracks in particular (Bejeweled 2 Deluxe and Mystery Case Files: Huntsville), however, I have never downloaded a crack and I am hesitant because I am not particularly computer savvy! On those websites, how can I be sure that I'm not downloading a virus? Are they monitored or can anyone submit a crack? Do you all just scan the file with your antivirus software before you open it? Any input would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance!

Not very reliable. That's one. The game you mentioned are available only thorugh download. So it's not legal to ask for crack here for them(forum rules).
So if you want them, buy them. Both of them have limited time trials. Otherwise, you will have to do things at your own risk. The casual games like Bejeweled and so on don't get crack bercause cracks are meant for people who are owning the games on CD or DVD support. Direct Download cracks are considered to be illegal. Neither gamecopyworld, gameburnworld or megagames don't support cracks for casual games(which are available only through direct download).

They're full of malware ... if you're looking for a crack, use one of the following 3 sites:
www.gameburnworld.com
www.gamecopyworld.com
www.megagames.com

astalavista and cracks.am don't provide game cracks as in no-cd fixes, but keygens and serials.
This is highly suspicious

Yeah if you are looking specifically for game cracks the 3 sites Dip mentioned are the most reliable. Astalavista and their cracks sites are mainly for apps/keygens like was said you can find some game craks there sometimes but don't have a huge database as mg,gcw or gamecopyworld and those sites a lot of times have a lot of spyware, dialers, virus and somee crap like that. Sites where you have to go with firewalls and antivirus activated. The other 3 mentioned by Dip are safe

Quoting: "I have been looking for two cracks in particular (Bejeweled 2 Deluxe and Mystery Case Files: Huntsville)".
None of the three offers cracks for this kind of games. The casual game protection is based on old limited trials who can be unlocked by a serial number provided by the publisher. Those two games don't need to be cracked as they aren't on any media support(CD or DVD). Basically the question here is how can I make my trial game a full game(which means a cracked exe or a serial number who removes the trial countdown)

Due to the websites that the OP has listed, I am leading towards this being about Warez. If I am wrong I will re-open this thread
