in addition to all the other "retro" games ive been installing this one is the only one that isnt working and i know why...
without the crack i have to install an xp patch. it works with that perfectly but with the crack it just reverts to the non patched version. the crack works, but the game wont.
is there any tomb raider 5 xp crack? or is it possible to make one myself?

Have you tried applying the patch after you have cracked the game?

I would also suggest you try other cracks.

tried both english cracks on megagames and patching it with the xp patch just replaces the crack with a patched exe...

Seems to me you apply the crack first and then the patch.
Check the patch version. Apply the patch. Apply the crack for xp patch. Those are the correct steps.

Hm, I recently played again TR5, but I do not think it demanded that the original CD be put in the drive... Surely there is a XP-compatible patch to play the game, but about a no-CD crack it is the first time I hear...

My version of the game is the UK one, if it is any difference... Comes in 2 disks, the second one is the level editor.
