I recently splurged and bought myself an XBox 360. I've got Gears of War so I have a burning desire to get myself on to XBox Live and play with my friends. The problem is that I can't seem to connect my XBox to the wireless network I've set up.
I have a wireless network set up with a D-Link 900AP+ as an access point. I have my XBox with a ASUS WL-330g as a wireless bridge. When I go to test my connection it detects it as a wired connection and fails at the ip address stage. Also, when I go to edit my settings it doesn't have any wireless options such as the WEP settings.
I thought that any hardware should work with the XBox, is that false thinking? Do I need to buy the $100 wireless adapter from Microsoft or other "XBox compliant" hardware?
