EVERQUEST - what a rip off!

Just bought Everquest - New Dawn on Pc.
Not only is it INTERNET ONLY PLAY, fair nuff but you cant access any of the game if not on net.
BUT the sly sods also charge you monthly to use the servers, the cheeky buggers!
So apart from paying £30 to buy it, I gotta pay a monthy charge (Which im not gonna state coz its ridiculous) to even ACCESS the game ive just payed for!!! Gamers dont even get the chance to see if they like the thing first before paying to sign up.

THIS IS A DAMN DISGRACE, UBI SOFT + SONY ONLINE should be shot from close range with a shotgun.

oh yeah, also my opinion on this is;

1. Charge more money for the game and not charge for server use.

2. Charge a 1 off subscription to the servers, game price lowered.

3. Give the game away for free and charge for server use monthy.

One of the above may well be fair but charging for the game then a constant monthy charge to play it just sucks. How can they charge you for a game which you CANT play without paying more money for that priveledge?

well you should atleast get a month free for buying the game, hence why i never play MMOLRPG's, i'll stick to a game's sticker price thank you very much (no pun intented)

If it is not clearly identified as being " Internet Only " take it back from whence you bought it M8 and ask for a refund .. It should be clearly identified as to it's playing requirements :( :)

nah its worth paying for every single person that has played it has said that it is worth the time and money a man lost his house because he was so hooked on the game and
some guy sold his account to a guy for 1 million dollers because it was such a good account LOL
