DivX Aspect Ratio

Anyone know if theres a prog or away to find out the AR on a divx.
So i get the AR right when converting to vcd.
But Tmpgenc just says there 1:1 vga(what ever that is)

But to me it seems some divx movies r 16.9 so no black borders when encoding to 16.9 but some seem to b letter box.

if you want to get rid of the black borders, then you have to set it to 'Full screen', but the aspect ratio will be off - so it will be kind of stretched. whats the resolution of avi anyway ?

select 4:3 (NTSC or PAL) or 16:9, instead of 1:1
