Sorry i dont post as much as i should, just been busy, i love these forums honestly guv'nor :uhoh:

so yeah, i got myself a XBOX360 for christmas.. have dead rising, burnout revenge, gears of war, saints row, dynasty warriors 5, FEAR and pro evo 6.

my xbox live tag is ZombieAndy if anyone wants to add me and meet up sometime, im looking for some cool people to play against so i thought i'd give it a try here.

also, anyone else recomend any good games? which is better, need for speed or PGR?

Rainbow Six Vegas is an awsome game. I have PGR3, and I like it. Haven't played an NFS game since NFS: Underground 2. Oblivion is cool too if you haven't got it on the PC.

GR:AW is a lot of fun. As recommended, Oblivion is a solid choice, if you like that genre. I just bought a copy of Lego Star Wars II off eBay today, it got pretty good reviews (and it's just an all-around fun game to play). Dead or Alive 4 is a must, if you like fighting games. The Call of Duty games are always fun, but it's just another WWII shooter (some people get tired of playing the "same" game over and over). Also, as said, Rainbow Six: Vegas is one of the highest-rated games out on the 360 (I have it for PC, because I've gathered all the Rainbow Six games on that system over the years). Splinter Cell: Double Agent is a pretty good game, more of the same, yet different enough to keep your attention.

PGR3 is a solid driving game. I bought it day of 360 release (there wasn't much out). You can't go wrong with that game (plus, it's in the bargain bin for like $30US right now, so why not pick it up?!)

Personally, I enjoyed the multiplayer of Perfect Dark Zero. Got the game on release day, and as said. Wasn't much choice then, but glad I did overall. I've probably played more mulitplayer on that game with my friends and over XBL than any other 360 game I have, and that includes GoW.

I personally got bored of Ghost Recon fairly quickly, and haven't played in months now. Although to be fair, I spent ages on it when I first got it... Can't believe I forgot to mention DOA4, an awsome beat 'em up. Fight Night Round 3 is awsome too if you're into that sort of game. Oh and Madden NFL 2007 rocks, if you're into American Football. There's a bunch of cool games on the marketplace at the moment, have a look there. Also check out some of the free demos, too. I'm pretty sure all the games me and Matt have mentioned have demos on there. Try before you buy ;)

Unless it's something platform like Gears of War or Halo 3 or something else that's going to be insane, I usually rent a game before purchasing it, then pick up a copy used from one of the video game stores (you're probably talking about XBOX live, but I'm not allowed to use it because of my 12-step program haha). That way, if I don't like it, I ended up dropping $5 on the game, rather than $60 ;)

Here are so much posts about Xbox 360 so i didnt make new thread. My guestion is why its name is 306??? Why not 2???

I thought that its 360 coz it have 3 processors, but i guess im wrong.

My friend thinks that its because microsoft wanned it to looks better that PS3 so they put in name 360.

But does anyone know real reason for such name??

thats cause microsoft didnt want their shiny new console to be outdated i meant wit the playstation3 out it would hav felt stupid to see a xbox2 so hence hey went to 360 but i think they could hav just skipped a number n named it xbox3
