Ive been playing the Wii for just over a week, I like it put theres only so much you can do with a infered remote, althought different and gimicky I would rather play a 3D shooter on a PC with a mouse as its much more easy.
Ive also have been getting arm strain even when playing Zelda Twilight Princess.
(P.s) anybody ntoice the Twilight Princess is available on gamecube at EB in AUSTRALIA.
that pisses me of just a little because I thought it would be stricly Wii.
anyway, what do you guys think about the Wii, good and bad. and how does it compare to giants such as XBOX360 and PS3?

I played on it once, it was fun, but i'm not gonna buy one, too much effort involved. :p
I'm getting a PS3, so much eaiser. :)

How funny, the 6AX controller will be as lame as the wiimote
in it's own unrumbling way. That is until the dev's drop the 6ax
altogether leving you with essentially a wireless PS1 controller.
Woo-hoo took them 11 years to do that.
Getting a PS3 much easier, less effort?
Eye of the beholder I suppose.
Not anytime this year.
Nintendo should have had the wiimote rubberized with a light stippling.
The dang strap isn't enough.

I'm not buying the PS3 just for the 6AX ++++e, its pointless IMO, what was wrong with dual shock?
What I meant was, is I don't like the whole Wii concept of actively controling games with your own movement, sure it fun, but its tiring and boring after a while, I want a console that I can come home from work to, sit on my sofa and kill stuff, not one where i'm jumping around, injuring myself and destroying my prized homely possessions. ;)

No argument there, too funny.
The Wii is definitely one for the rubber room crowd.

I like the Wii. I found that the Boxing segment of Wii Sports didn't respond too well to my controllers, but every other segment was fine. It's a little more tiring than normal video games, but it somewhat reminds me of the days I used to spend at the arcades (I used to destroy the buttons). I'm glad I bought it, though, I haven't used it as much as I did my 360 when I first got that (the PS/3 has gotten next to no use lol).

At the rate Nintendo is shipping them out, thats looking doubtful.
They have had shortages ever since it was released.

My brother has it but i have never played on it so I guess I can't opine in this one
But what I don't like about lots Nintendo games is that are pretty childish for my taste but Zelda TP looks good
I moved from consoles ages ago to PC

nintendo went down hill as soon as they released the cude, so the 64 was the best console for nintendo in my books

I guess the thing was this:
Nintendo went bad since the N64 for lack of support of game companies coz they never liked they used the cartdridge as media intead of the cd and then went worst in the cube also for the lack of games even more than the N64 was but they hadbetter sucess in the Wii in sales and more support from game companies when most predictions were that they was gonna go in the highway to extinction in this new console generation. Now the less sold was the PS3 (the one people expected more)

i dont think so, and if they did, i doubt you would be abale to play the language you cahnged it too's games, e.g, on the gamecube, mines europian, you cant play american games.
i think the same will apply...
ohhh..
and i think the wii is, quite honestly, crap..

Why is it crap?
Zelda, Mario Galaxy, and MP3 were pretty good. Plus, what I'm most excited about - SSBB!! I'll also have to get the House of the Dead collection when it comes out (light gun game - have to get it).

Care to share a source?
