Hi I am asking how to connect the console cheats to the relevant missions. I am stuck (for many days now) at the level in the game where escort of the stolen enemy supplies truck.and its armoured escort is plunged into a mountain edge annd with only 18 health its a negative to get through this mission. I was asked to add following to the console.
+ set cheats 1 +set ui_console 1 +set thereisnomonkey 1 at.
I dont know where to go from this point do I add (god) or (health) to the extender. I have tried to add the console extra to the mission but maybe I am doing something wrong. Can some kind "gamer" please assist.

You mean the mission where you have to blow up tanks and stuff when your going through that snowy wood?

Thats near the end of the game, and it is a bugger to do.

God mode won't work on vehicles and I don't know is there is a health 'restore' cheat.

You don't put the " + set cheats 1 +set ui_console 1 +set thereisnomonkey 1" into the console, you put it into the "Target" field of the shortcut of the exe file. (See pic below.)

Tnx random I now have done the shortcut and properties and inserted the said quote.into the targetas you showed in your post. I now need to know how and where to add the cheat codes. I am not sure where to insert them. Sorry to be a pain my friend. Many thanks again

Man I hate that mission I left the game there, never could pass it and i abandonned it I f return to it maybe I gonna cheat it too

Thnx random again I have inserted the cheat line ino the shortcut console and I have tried to insert the codes into the game console, but I cannot seem to get it to work. Where am I going wrong, do I use the key next tothe no 1 or the key with this (~) sign on it. Can you guide through step by step please.

You are launching the game from the shortcut right?

Anyway, make sure you have the console option enabled in the advanced part of the options.

The key I use the bring up the console is the one below "Esc" or the one next to "1".

Hi I typed in the commands into the game console and got the message unknown command I have put the (x) in the console above and pressed the said key cot the console but the command was unknown do I have to enter as Dos i e C:/ then the codes. I will conquer this i promise.

Are you typing a "\" before you enter the code?

So if you wanted god mode you would type "\dog".

Some games need the "\" i'm not sure if MOHAAS is one of them.

I typed as you instructed "\dog" but still unknown command is shown, i am either not understanding or the game wont accept the cheats, have you any suggestions as to what it is.

Hmmm, I think I might know what the problem is, MOHAA has this 'thing' where it won't let you cheat unless you enter the cheat and the beginning of a level, if you try using cheats from a level you've loaded, it won't work.

I'm pretty sure thats whats wrong, I seem to remember having a similar problem when I used cheats in MOHAA.

Just start a level from the beginning, click on 'New Game' instead of loading one, and try the cheats then.

If that doesn't work, then I really don't know where your going wrong m8. :(

i can now enter the codes and no problems with acceptance , now I cannot addapt the codes to the game

Sorry random I am not very specific. I have changed the shortcut to what it is required to run the console. but on entering the codes in the game console ,from the advanced control, I dont know how they work in the actual missions. I press the key next to the (1) when the part of the game comes and the console drops to view. but from here I am stumped.Can all the codes be typed in at the same time?.

I think you've got confused somewhere, let me explain on how to do it as simply as possible...


Launch the game, from the shortcut you added the command to.
Start a new game, by clicking on "New Game".
Wait until the game loads.
Press the key that brings up the console.
Type in the desired cheat code and hit enter.
Close the console, and see if its worked.Just to rectify your other queries, the console is used while your in-game not when your in the "Advanced Options" menu, I only told you about that, just so you could check if you had the console enabled.

When the console is up, you can enter as many cheats as you want, but not all at the same time, they must be input individually.

Hi I have managed to get the cheats to go.I have got through the mountain pass in spearhead but in Defend the front I get blown to bits even when godmode is on???how is this happening???anyway manythanx for your patience with this question.

Thanks again I am now trying the cheat \wartrance \which should take the game up one level, as I cannot get past the defend the front sequence. Hopefully the cheat will work orI shall have tofind someother codeword

Further to the last posting I typed the dog code in the console and the following message came up 'must run server with + set cheats 1' to enable this command'. what does this mean I already typed it into the shortcut.

If you typed it, maybe you made a mistake, I would copy and paste it, to make sure you don't make any mistakes.

I have fully checked the shortcut and done the right advice.But what has the server got to do with it, I dont play online.( or is this the problem??)

I think its doing that think where you have to start a new game again, i've just tried it, and it worked when I started a new game, but didn't when I loaded.

I that doesn't work then I am well and truly out of ideas. :)

Thanx a lot random I found that each time I start the game, I go into the wireless section on the menu and where the console is housed. I find that if I click apply each time , the cheats come up ok. I spose you have to do it each time. Is there a cheat to skip a stage in the game.
This method seems to be ok, maybe we both have found out something new.

There's a cheat to skip to the next level, if thats what you mean.

I think you type maplist into the console, that will give you a menu of all the maps within MOHAAS, although they aren't very descriptive in name. :)
