Need help with Mouse

Hey there, my friend did something to my mouse and now instead of Double-clicking it opens with one click and when i click stuff it opens in a new window ALWAYS. and i hate that. PLEASE help.

Open a folder, click Tools and then Folder Settings.

There should be some settings that lets you choose whether to open in the same window or a new window. And if the mouse should double-click or single-click

Yes, for the general mouse settings, but the settings about how the mouse operates in folders, are in the folder settings.
