Use the original game disc then ... you would only have a problem playing it if he was playing it also or if he doesn't live with you, both cases violating the EULA you agree to when you install the game. Other than that advice, we can't help you. Sorry.

What DIP basically means you only have legal rights to install the game on ONE pc only, no matter if its under the same household unless you purchased a second license, and im sure you didnt.

Crack for the English version of The Guild 2, version 1.1 works, but tends to kick people out after a couple of minutes. Kinda annoying, i'd love to play with my CD if my own comp were here, but its broken, @ store. Im using a diff comp with my HD in it(it has no CD or DVD player, it's pretty old, random assembled parts), so im trying to play with no cd crack. Any ideas on how to solve this?

Is there a good BackupDVD out, to run the guild2 with 1.15 or 1.16?

Use the new DT 4.06 or 4.03 4 ver1.1 both are working with a good Image and asr, no need of any Cracks!

in order to play it correctly you a .mdf and .mds image of the game in conjuction with using asr and DT. This way it will work. It's out there, or u make it urself.
Edit: this is with the unofficial v1.1 UK patch. No crack needed.

if you get the "out of sync" error, you can easily fix that,
theres and config or other txt file and scroll down at the end and there you have to set a 0 somewhere - (something like "allow fatal sync of clients")

Ok guys after about 12 hours of trying to get this ++++ to work im fed up.
I bought the game, ripped it at a friend, becoz unfortunatly i got no DvD Drive on my PC.

I tried everything:

First of all i downloaded all patches. Then i tried 2 different kinds of NOCD Cracks. Both had the problem that i was thrown out of the game after
about 5 to 10 minutes.

Then i got here and read about ASR and so on. So i tried all these Programs, even the new Securomloader 7.26 by Procyon ... but nothing works.
I tried to rename the .exe files. Hide or not hide my VDD. Crack and Progz (crashed after 5-10 minutes then like without progz).
btw. i had the miniImage by Crypton from GBW while i tested this and i got DT v 4.06 HE ...

Maybe someone got a working miniimage. dunno how to create one myself.
Plz PM me if someone knows a solution.

Mini-images aren't hard to create ... just stop the image making process @ 1% (don't delete the file though) and test the image. If it doesn't work at 1%, redo it and try 2%, and so on until it works.

I got it to work for ONCE using asr.exe, but now I get an error, and when I click the link, the site tells me Securom has detected the use of asr.exe. Any way I can overcome this problem?

Do you have the latest version of ASR? If not, update it. Otherwise, use the original disc until a new mini-image or a fixed .exe is released

well the guild 2 executable is fine, the reason your getting kicked is because the guild 2 servers most likly check client data, as well as execuable data..

just like in Battlefield 2, the cracked exe works, but you get kicked from servers after acouple minutes, because punkbuster finds memory locations that arent the same in the original protected exe file.

ive never played the guild 2 honestly, but maybe i will, and check it out.

the best way to deal with this issue right now, is just use the original disc, or make a maxi/mini image of the CD needed to play the game.
im sure it would be easy to crack.. just find where the exe sends a value to the server... 0=good , 1=bad :)
its a good game, so maybe some1 will crack this soon, (not speaking of securom..)


i got mad knowing BF2 didnt work perfectly without a CD.. but its such a good game, i dont mind putting the cd in.... well.. loading a mini image :P

Being on another computer would not be a problem in using your original game disc ... Alcohol120% is good, but it's about $50

I think he's suggesting he doesn't have the capability to use the DVD in his other PC. Probably similar to me. I don't have any optical media drives in my main tower. I tend to install everything across a LAN connection and just use images afterwards. All IDE slots are in use. Not sure what he's running, might be a laptop or something that doesn't have a DVD player?

Kinda random assembled parts. Of course not really random, but you get the picture. No CD or DVD drives, but it got some ok specs and I am using my own HD. Had to actually buy a motherboard(still had all other parts).. an old one, but luckily I found one for cheap.

If there's no other anti-blacklisting tools that say they'll help block SecuROM, then I guess you'll have to get your hands on an old CD/DVD drive.

There are other programs outside of Alcohol120%, but that's hands-down the best one out there ...

Thanks IDipSkoalMint. I've actually managed to create some mini images using various programs, and the mini images seem fine, but securom just won't stop detecting. heh, I guess I won't be able to play this for a while longer.. not till my own PC returns anyway, if it ever does.
Very frustrating.. I bought the game, and my computer stopped working the moment I started the game(well the moment I started 'new game')... now I know the game was not why my comp broke down(unless anyone else had random power surges going from the power feed trough the rest of my comp), so... didnt get to play it, now I got to play it once using asr.exe... year 1440 or something... trying to become sovereign... and now I cant play :)

just getting it to let you debug is a problem..


try using Daemon tools 4 load the image and use the Securom_loader_v1.2.exe
it doesnt work with old daemon tools
