problem with black screen in call of juarez

hello,

when im playing the game (with good framerates) after 30min the screen turns black and i cannot go back to windows etc. just had to restart the hole pc

this happens only with call of juarez


my pc:

athlon64 3700+
1,5 gb ram ddr2
geforce 6800gt 128mb
lc power 500W

Are you using the original game disc and or original game exe? Or are you using a crack? If the game disc and the exe are original, then return the game to the shop and see if they'll replace it.

The last game I saw that ran "blackscreen" was BF1942, its a pain-in-teh-arse, when stuff like this happens. :)

ive tried to locate the blackscreen.exe but i couldnt find it maby IT'S named otherwise... do it exsit some kind of a list, where i can check how the blacksreen.exe could be called?

also i dont think this is a fixed exe problem since the same thing happend to me with the demo version when it was released

Max Refresh Rate: This setting controls the maximum refresh rate used by Call of Juarez at your chosen resolution. For more details of refresh rate and what it does, see my Gamer's Graphics & Display Settings Guide. You should not set a refresh rate higher than your monitor can physically support at the resolution you have chosen, as this will lead to a black screen. If in doubt, leave this set to 60Hz to start with, as this will work on all monitors.

my framerate is 60hz by a resolution of 1024*640

again the game works really fine with very good fps rate
only after 15-30min the game crashes and i only see a black screen, than its not possible to go back to windows(tab + ctrl) or get the task manager on, the only thing that works than is a reset...

same problem was with the demo version of the game

Are you using a nocd fixed exe?
are you using a mounted image or original disc for installation?

you never clearly answered either of those.

i was a few days on vacation, yesterday i came home to my pc, i thought maybe time would heal every wound... but it doesnt.....

same problem, game still doent work

so i thought maybe the game just dont work with my hardware or some software on the system... but yesterday i've tried to play condemned and look there same thing, game turns into a black screen just like call of juarez and the only thing i can do is restart the system....

this sucks............................................. .................................................. ...................



p.s.
have installed spybot avira antivir and the WinFirewall
and i got a SIS760gx k8mc mainboard from winfast

i tried the mb5 software u showed me but i dont get it work properly it shows always 0° but the voltage sensors are workin (it changes every 10sec)

edit:

now it seems to work

under current tempeture:
Sensor 1: 37°C / sensor 2: 33°C / sensor 3: 29°C
and while playing under high:
S1: 45°C / S2: 57°C / S3: 37°C

and just a minute after i get the "high" temps, the game crashed

ergo: yes i used a crack ficed exe etc, but since i have a little bit of intellegence left, i tried it without one and its the same problem... i know the rules of this forum and yes i have the og dvd

tried the files u gave me, but still the same thing, game crashes...

i set the resolution on 680*480 and the settings on minimum, with this i could play longer than "normal" like an hour or so
