Company Of Heroes ERROR TEXT

i had installed Company of Heroes just then. when i go into the game , it appears that all the text are wrong . for example the loading... it says "$46265(random number) No Range" same goes to the meun....... "$713512 No Range" help plz ........ i already tried Applocle , but same thing.

Are you using a nocd fix?
where did u get the game from?
are you or have you tried using the original disc in the drive?

I cant really figure this 1 out without the game..
but It seems to sound like the same problem gta had. (well xp had with gta)
there was a fix for that.

Its an xp fix thing.
i put it on my server cos you never know when theyl delete it and pretend there was never a problem.
So be sure your using xp before you run it.
And if its not the problem dont worry cos it wont harm your xp if you install it.

i think it is the problem though.
or atleast its the only thing that pops in my head looking at the symptoms you describe

On a side note.
Ive just downloaded the demo...
1.7GB for a demo???
utter madness :)
Any way il see if i can get the same problems with that.


Had a look at the game mine is fine.
I also decided to have a look through the read me.
No mention of this particular error was made.
But sees to be a few problems with windows xp and nvida cards running this game.

Look in the readme.txt file of the game to see if any of them sound similar to your problem.

Sorry but this is about all the help i can give without suffering from the problem my self.
