View Full Version : Medal of Honor Allied Assault patching problems

I have MOHAA (us version) and I cannot apply the v1.11 patch (uk & us) - an error claiming I have no MOHAA us/uk installed appears. I have tried the original patch from the EA site, the patch from the Spearhead and none works.

the problem might be in the registry - there's nothing about language in there (I have also tried copying the registery value for game language from other EA games but it didn't help)

I am guessing you mean an update for the game rather than apply a nocd fix here.

Does the game work without the patch and the original disc in the drive?

There is a fix for this problem somewhere on the internet. I had the same issue when I has Allied Assault installed many a year ago. I will have a look on some of my old backup discs, I might have it. If I do, I'll upload it for you. But incase I don't find it, do a google search.

Why don't you don't install the language patch for you game version instead os the U.S one? For example when i had that game installed I had the patches for the spanish versions since is the one i have. You should check on google .

the game works without the patch, but the patch is necessary for the Spearhead expansion

I tried only the uk/us patch since my MOHAA is US version

acal is right....a lanuage patch should do the trick...by the way are you sure that spearhead needs the v1.11 patch to work?

I haven't deleted anything from the registery - there was nothing in MOHAA registery

Out of curiosity are you installing/playing from the original CD in the drive and using original exe's and so on?

The patch from spearhead sould work, as its needed to play the game, as suggested above.

there's no Polish version so I have the US one

I'm not using any cracks and the uninstall registery is ok...

1. in Poland there's no localized version so they sell the us one with the manual translated ( :-| )

2. it's the same even after formating the computer

I bought it new in a gameshop in original box etc.
