is there another way to fix it if this way doesnt work
Go to control panel/keyboard and and check the key settings. it might be that your keyboard has given up the ghost. it doesnt cost much to buy a new one these days

Deadly Snake, I remember you long time noo see you welcome again
and yes sometimes the keyboards get dirty inside and key don't work sometimes with clean inside the keyboard works again sometimes never works again, and other end to not work comeplelely
I had to replace some years ago because the k didn't work then all the keys ended to malfuction and are very cheap these days is even sometimes more cheaper buy a new one than pay a technician to fix the old one

Yesh.. Acal is right.. Had that problem myself with my old pc.. More often with mouse too when I used to use the ball one... Try cleaning the inside.. Or that soft pad thing inside may be misplaced.. Knocked out of its place..

Optical mouse is the best bet.
And yes regarding your keyboard try to clean it by opening it. I tried it and it worked great. But I lost my 2 rubber spunches which are below every keys.

Well if you knew what 'Sticky Keys' does you would know why! ;)
I've just had another thought, are both Shift keys not working?

Hehe I find that only happens with the lower-budget M$ mice, even brand-new ones do it!
I've also heard that can be to do with the surface you use your mouse on, a dark rough surface is best for optical mice.

Try the *RIGHT!!! Shift Key* and see if that one works... and if you happen to have a *Shift-Lock Key* check it and make sure it's not enabled...

Put ur keyboard on floor and dance on it.As new keyboards almost cost nothing and newer ones are with gr8 features.Better get one that suits ur job.
