Got myself the new Macbook White with 1GB RAM http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wo/0.RSLID?mco=A4791B5D&nclm=MacBook
It's pretty amazing thing. I've never used a Mac before so it's all new to me and getting used to all the new functions. It's quite easy to get online with it. useng my wireless system. Not much hassle, what you have with PC all those different brands you need to know which buttons to push to get access to wireless internet etc...
The only problem i got is that there isn't some kind of paint prog already inside so you need to buy it. But there's lots of freeware available i just need to get to know what prog is used for what. Unlike on windows you already know which progs are good for what.
The nice thing about the new dual core is that you can put Windows XP SP2 on there and use all available hardware. Microsoft is still working out some hardware drivers because they're not all working yet.

Only issues I've heard about with them (plan on ordering one in the next month) is that some have issues with discoloration ...

I've had my 13" 1.83GHz Macbook for about a month now and haven't had any issues with it yet, other than a very slight bluetooth issue. But that the fault of my printer; not the Mac ;)
I have to say, it is awsome. And I love using OSX. But I don't see it replacing my PC or my usage of Windows anytime soon.

Hmmm. As tempting as that sounds, I'm gonna have to pass lol. Had to put the upgrade on hold for a few weeks :( Gonna see how much a decent Conroe setup will cost :D

Partition your hard drive with 10GB Windows, get a cheap external (160GB or so), install Bootcamp, dual boot. The Macbook runs some programs as good as an IBM notebook. Use the desktop to play games, or anything else that's gives your hardware a good run for it's money, and the Macbook for anything else you do in Windows

I don't need to do that. I can do most if not all of my programming in OSX, and for anything other than games I've slowly transitioned away from Windows. Have been doing for a while now. I don't see th point of using Bootcamp, if I want to use Windows, I'll just use one of my Windows machines.
I think Bootcamp is a nice idea for people who don't have access to a PC, much in the same way that OSx86 is a nice idea for poeple who don't own Macs (even if it is illegal).
