Hi,
I have a few people, well a lot actualy wanting me to help them fix their pcs over the net (msn contacts usually call upon me <_< )

Anyway i have xp home installed therefore i cant use the remote assitance software that i would otherwise ideally suite my needs. im just wondering is their any other programs available or indeed a fix for this to work on xp home?

Ideally i would like this program to only be required to install on my comp and if at all only a small part on the clients computer...

plzzzzzzzzzz help!!!!!

helping over msn is a joke, people take forver to perform the tasks we would all take for granted and so its very time consuming as well as the chance of human error escalating....

Try PCAnywhere ... it needs to be installed on their computer also, and it costs money, but back in the day of Win95, it was good.

Also, look for a VPN client

I use Dameware at work, that installs a service on the client computer unfortunately it only works on LAN (as far as I know) but something like that would be ideal for you. :)

exactly Random, tho it would be prefferable if the client didnt ahve anything to install or indeed just have intsall a small file/activex component

On average im asked approximatley one to two times a day for a PC problem and doing it over msn sucks just cause i have to repeat myself...its very time consuming and this way i cut out the middle map (cleint who cant follow orders :p ) and get the job done so much sooner ;)
