Hi,
i have the following problem:
I downloaded Master of Orion 3 from an online shop (trygames.com for about 18€ sad.gif ). It is already patched with 1.2.5 and works ok (except the bugs that come with the unmoded game anyway). I got bored with it already and looked for some nice mods and found some, but i cant install them because they use Bhruic & Gerra Patches. These patches change the moo3.exe file. The problem is that they are designed for the file that comes with the cd-version of the game, and cant be aplied to the moo3.exe file that I have:(, because it uses different kind of copywrite protection(when started it doesnt check if the original cd is in the cd-rom drive, but wants me to activate my copy of the game online) and therefore is different.
I tried to install the iMOD. It comes with moo3.exe that is already patched with Bhruic's & Gerra's patches, and when i replace mine with it, then the game checks for the original cd, which ofcourse I dont have. I belive that if I had a good image of the original cd then the game should work, but Im not sure. Ive asked for advice in few other forum, but the only advice I get is: buy the game again!! :reddead:
Does anyone play the game using mini-image or can anyone, please, make one for me (I know it costs time and I would not be asking you if I knew someone who could lend me the original cd, so that i can make one myself)?
If someone will be so kind to do this, and it actually works - that will be very helpful for other people like me as well!
PP Please excuse me if this post brakes some of the rules in this forum, but as I said Im not trying to play some illegal copy of the game. I bought it from trygames.com, and I will definetly not shop from this site again!!!
